About Company
Ukrainian crewing company Headway Ltd was founded in 2005 and works on official basis, according to the license of the Ministry of Labor and Social policy of Ukraine.
Our company provides Shipowners, Shipmanagers and Operators high qualified and experienced seafarers. Crewmembers are personally selected and prospective applicants carefully screened to verify their experience, competence, fitness and comprehension of English prior to enlistment.
In consultation with the Shipowners, the designated Crew Manager selects and engages the command and crew of each vessel. There is strict adherence to internal Quality Standards, full compliance with IMO, STCW and ISO requirements, and the manning stipulations of the vessel and her registry.
A policy of selective rehire, together with continuous upgrade training and performance appraisal, guarantees quality manpower, proficiency and safety on board.
Headway Ltd providing well-educated, highly qualified and experienced seafarers. Our database contains over 20,000 screened seafarers. All our seafarers are holders of certificates in compliance with IMO, STCW-78/95 and USCG regulations and requirements. Everyone is fully familiarized with the ISM Code, and has had to pass medical examination (including drug-alcohol tests), English examinations and Headway`s s internal professional tests. All candidates must have positive references from previous employers prospective candidates are shown to the principal`s s for consideration.
