We are looking for 3rd Engineer to join the vessel in Saudi Arabia:

Duties


The officer in charge of an engineering watch takes care of:

- The maintenance of the engine room.

- Monitoring technical systems.

- Taking care of a safe working environment

- Cleaning activities

- Organising the activities in consultation with the master.

- Supporting the master with his activities.

- Keeping the master posted about the technical equipment.

- Consulting the master about maintenance and essential repairs.

- Berthing and mooring of the vessel in accordance with the instructions of the master.

- Preparing meals for crew, customer and clients. (there is only 2 or 3 crew on board so tasks will have to be shared.)

Authority:


Taking care of the technical systems and maintenance.


Appropriate certificates which meets STCW standards in the competency currently valid form and flag state requirements and which fulfil the standards given in the Safe Manning Certificate.

To be well grounded in English, spoken and written as well as adequate knowledge of the applicable law.


Start: 11 February

Duration: 6 weeks on/off

Salary: 160 € per day on board (Net) for non-EU crew, 180 € per day on board (Gross) for EU crew (= +/- 130€ net)

Flag: Dutch, Dutch COC is applicable + EU medical
