We are urgently looking for Ch. Engineer for Diving Support Vessel. ( DP 3).
Contract duration: 5 weeks On/ Off.
Region of work: Egyptian waters (Mediterranean & Red Sea areas).
Qualifications of the required Ch. Eng:
-The Ch. Eng. Should hold a Formal, cuurent, STCW 95 Engineering Officer Cert, appropriate for the class of the vessel
- A minimum of 3 years exp. on Taut wire and HIPAP systems
- A minimum of 1 year exp. as Ch. Eng. on DSV ( DP-2), IN DIVING OPERATIONS
- A minimum f 3 months exp. on Kongsberg DP-2 systems.
- Attended a course in saturation systems maintenance
- Detailed knowledge of DP FMEA and adequate knowledge of equipment manuals.
- Knowledge and understanding of failure modes
- Knowledge of the maintenance requirements for DP SYSTEM.
- Adequate knowledge of the vessel DP OPERATIONAL MANUAL
- Knowledge of relevant IMCA guidelines including DP incident reporting
- Preferably the Ch. Eng. should have manufacturer courses for the DP system, power generation, power management and propulsion system
- All past training and exp. should be recorded in the IMCA DP log books.
- Assessment of the Chief Engineers Documents, training and past experiences will be carried out by company assessors.
